MyMaster & MyPhD programmes were created under the 10th Malaysia Plan via the MyBrain15 program for the sponsorship of postgraduate study at the Masters & PhD levels.

The Objective of the programs is to stimulate and encourage graduate with calibre to pursue their studies at the higher levels in key areas in line with the country's development plan. This will simultaneous develop and maintain / retain human capital and catapult the transformation of Malaysia to a high income country.

Both programs are opened to the public and private sectors. This is an incentive by the government in its aim to upgrade / increase the knowledge and skill of Malaysias in line with the economic development plan under the MEP which is Innovative Based Development.

IPS has recently launched the Online PORTAL for student, staff, faculty admin and IPS admin at http://research.mmu.edu.my/ips under the top menu 'PORTAL'. Our first phase consist of online application for Verification Letter Request, Renewal Visa Request and KWSP Request.  Students can now submit their request online and supervisor(s) may verified/approved the request online.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PASS RENEWAL. 
 
Immigration department has advised that effective immediately all International Student Visa renewal will be scrutinized thoroughly. Students who are having a CGPA below 2.0 will be advised to quit and leave the country, as of for now no appeal will be considered. 
 
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PASS EXPIRES WHILE BEING OUT OF MALAYSIA.
